The origin of EL Tracker stems from a group of Chicago residents who were dissatisfied with the absence of a user-friendly transit application specific to Chicago. The app emerged from a simple idea: "Why can't there be a widget that informs me about train arrivals?" Our mission is to enhance the daily lives of Chicagoans through the utilization of technology. Our focus on inclusivity is evident through features such as low-vision assistance, ADA accessibility references, notifications for elevator outages, and language options.
It is important to note that EL Tracker is an independent application and not an official product of or endorsed by the CTA.
